We are looking for a Naturopath to join our team. This is a part time position with the potential to become a full time position.

Our clinics are based out of Abbotsford BC. This position is perfect for a Naturopath who is looking to begin or grow their career. The ability to work at both of our clinics is desirable. New Grads welcome!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside Physiotherapists, RMTs, and Kinesiologists in a Multidisciplinary Clinic.
  • Assessment and treatment of patients
  • Ability to treat a wide range of patients from high intensity athletes to general public.
  • Excellent patient care, interpersonal communication.
  • Using methods such as acupuncture, herbal medicines, counselling, and clinical nutrition to promote the body's natural healing process
  • Educating patients about how they can create healthy habits and lifestyles
  • Prescribing, dispensing and administering natural medicines to patients, such as dietary supplements, vitamins, amino acids, and herbs
  • Conducting patient interviews to document their symptoms and health histories
  • Organizing and updating patient files depending on their conditions, treatment plans, and progress
  • Ordering diagnostic imaging procedures for patients who require it, such as X-rays, ultrasounds, and mammograms
  • Collaborating and referring patients to other health care specialists as necessary

Requirements:

Experience:

  • New Grads Welcome but 1 year preferred.

License/Certification:

  • Graduate from naturopathic college

Excellent knowledge of English language, both written and communication skills.

  • Provide hands-on osteopathic treatments to address musculoskeletal issues, restore mobility, and alleviate pain.
  • Collaborate with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and self-care strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Stay current with the latest developments in osteopathy and evidence-based practice.

Requirements:

Experience:

License/Certification:

- Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.

- Current and valid licensure or certification as an Osteopathic Practitioner.

  • Assessment and treatment of patients

  • Excellent patient care, interpersonal communication.
  • Consulting with the patient about their medical history and the reason for their visit
  • Creating a plan of care that focuses on the patient’s overall health and wellbeing
  • Assessing the patient’s spine, posture and reflexes to provide the appropriate treatment
  • Performing neuromusculoskeletal therapy by adjusting the patient’s spine and other joints
  • Providing supplemental treatments, such as massage and acupuncture to the injured area
  • Giving advice on lifestyle habits such as sleep, exercise and diet to improve patients physical health

Admin Assistant

Admin Assistant

We are looking for a part time / casual social media and administrative assistant to join our team. Hours range from 12-20 / week. Our office is based out of Abbotsford BC. This position is perfect for an individual who is detail-oriented, has great customer service and is organized.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Providing quality customer service and administrative assistance.
  • Answering phone calls and handling inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Booking, rescheduling, and confirming appointments for all clinic practitioners.
  • Direct bill insurance and other claim forms.
  • Room turnover between patients, stocking rooms and light housekeeping.
  • Administration of online scheduling and billing software (Jane Clinic Management).
  • Patient tracking, follow-up calls and discharge as required.

Skills:

  • Minimum of one year experience working in administration, especially in health care setting.

  • Evaluate and document patients' progress
  • May provide dietary and lifestyle advice including information on life therapies such as energy control therapy (Qi Gong)
  • May develop treatment plans in collaboration with other health care professionals.
